ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
You know that feeling, the first time you ever slipped on a pair of these mocs? Well it all came back to me when I purchased this pair in Freeport, ME, just days ago. I was commenting to the LLBean associate, that I had a pair in high school some 30 years ago. I see nothing has changed much in construction. The leather upper is buttery soft. The stitching is hand done. There is now an orthotic insert, as there was none when I wore mine in the early 80's. Now that the prep style from when I was a young adult, is coming back into fashion, my 5 daughters have been eyeing this pair and probably wondering to themselves "Mom wouldn't mind if I borrowed these along with her vintage LLBean Norwegian sweater." Yeah I don't think so, they'll have to get their own pair.
My disappointment in this otherwise dandy shoe (I had a pair of these in the 'seventies', which fit superbly.) is that they were too wide. Not enough size options. My last pair were in narrow, not available now.

Comfortable from the first time I wore them, with no real breaking in period. They're timeless in style, and go with just about everything, so now I'm wearing them all the time.
They do run narrow; I have relatively narrow feet, so the regular width fits me perfectly.
I have always admired these moccasins for looks, yet did not purchase them because I felt they would not have much support. They are wonderful looking and have great support! I recommend that if you think you might wear wide, get them in wide, I did and the fit is excellent.
