The Blucher Moc is an excellent sturdy shoe. It is very comfortable. I have owned many of these shoes and they last. The construction is quality. The leather is thick and sturdy. The sizing may be slightly off in the length. I wear a 61/2 on an American last, but since most shoes are now foreign made I wear a 7. The 7 in this shoe was about 1/2 too short last year so I ordered a 71/2 this year { my dogs ate the other shoes } and they were much too big even in the width. I returned them and ordered a 7 again and they seem to fit better than last years. Still very slightly short. Overall these are an excellent buy.
I bought this shoe to wear on a trip (rather than the common sports shoe). Good choice...they are comfortable and I look forward to wearing them with pride. The customer service was outstanding. The shoe had to be replaced...the exchange happened immediately and to my satisfaction.
I have a narrow heel and have always liked a boat shoe but need the triple or in this case four eyelet tie section to fit my foot properly. What a great design! I was so lucky to locate this shoe at my favorite store LL Bean. Happy customer for sure. Thank you!
I haven't noticed these women's Bluchers in catalogs for sometime, but happened upon them online and was positively giddy with excitement! I'd immediately ordered a pair to replace a pair that had somehow been lost during a home relocation. I used to buy these in the narrow width, but can get by with a medium width since it's a lace-up shoe, and am happily wearing mine as I write this. The slight arch support makes these superior and more comfortable to a similar shoe version produced by Eastland. I wish these were still available in a 2nd color (which I had slightly preferred--a dark stone or taupe shade) in which case I would be purchasing some in that color also, but I'll be purchasing a 2nd pair in the brown anyway. These are great shoes.
