I have quite wide square feet but I went ahead and ordered the D width even though I usually order WW. When the shoes arrived and I opened the box, my heart fell because I figured they must have sent narrow shoes. Amazingly, the shoes fit just fine. There was a slip of paper in the box advising that the toe area would feel tight initially but it wasn't a problem. The shoes look very very nice and my feet don't look their usual clunky wide. I am not compromising on comfort for looks, I know better. These are comfortable and I'm excited to have a dressier casual shoe than my usual walking shoes for wearing with slacks or jeans. Just not for me - way too narrow in the toe area (toe area pointed), and I even got the Wide width....A good looking quality shoe, sad to have to return them.
