I been wanting to get these shoes but they didn't have them in the store so I took a chance and ordered them on line. Well they fit like a glove it only took one day for them to fit without that tight feel across the top of my foot. I have trouble there and I have to get a wide shoe and I wasn't sure if they would be to big. I order my regular size and I didn't have a problem. So glad that I ordered them love L.L.Beans shoes
My shoes came right away which was very nice. They are good looking; I've gotten several compliments. They give really great support yet are comfortable. I suggest giving measurement info i.e. the number of inches of foot length and width per size and width. I looked at several on line so I was able to pick my correct shoe size.
I ordered the shoe for winter wear. I read a lot of the comments and some said they were too narrow. I felt that they may fit me with a sock on. I was wrong, they were too wide for me, much too wide. I sadly will have to return them. Please be aware that this shoe is very nice but it runs wide.
I just got mine today. Some of the other reviews said these shoes run about a half size small, but that was not true for mine. I am a true size 8 and I ordered size 8. If anything, it is a bit longer than my other size 8 shoes. The fore foot is a bit narrow, but that will stretch with wear since it is leather. The quality of the shoes is nice. They will need to be broken in though, just a bit stiff. I replaced the shoe laces though. I didn't like the ones that came with the shoes, they looked cheap.
