I love the colors of the straw multi. And the feel of the all-wool underfoot. Much softer than the wool-blends I've owned in past. I am concerned about loose yarns in several areas of the rug, even on the edge. Watching to see how it holds up. Can't imagine it will hold up well with loops of yarn sticking up.
This rug is beautiful, cheerful and timeless! I was concerned about it coordinating with my blue/aqua ish fiestaware ( am using in the kitchen) but with it's many shades of blue and green it would compliment a variety of wall shades and decorating schemes. I cannot speak to it's durability, but am certain our four giant rescue dogs will help educate me on that issue very soon :). We have a very casual, shabby chic lake house, and my other concern was it may look too "grandma" ish~not at all! I couldn't be happier with it, and am ordering another!
I love these braided wool rugs! They fit with any decor and look so warm and inviting. Natural fibers, beautiful colors and made right here in our country.
I bought two of these oval rugs in February of 2012, and not six months later they are coming apart at the braids. They are only sewed together by one obviously thin thread. We are two seniors with no kids or pets running around, nor are these rugs in high traffic areas. I feel for the price these rugs are definitely not worth it. Sorry, I thought they would last longer and would not recommend them.
