This rug is just how I remember them from New England - colorful, durable, lies flat and looks fantastic - really warmed up my hardwood floors. The workmanship is great and the little note from the craftsperson is a nice touch. Fair price too and nice to have it USA made.
I love this rug. It is top quality and the price was right. I did my research checking out other rug/carpet web sites, and LL Bean had by far the best offer. I ordered the 7' x 9' Chesnut Wool Braided rug, and the only critisizm I have is that the picture on the LL Bean website and the catalog is not nearly as vibrant as the actual colors in the rug. I was pleasantly surprised when the rug arrived at my home.
This is the first braided wool rug I have ever purchased, and now I hope to purchase at least a couple more for my house. I'm very pleased with the quality, vibrant colors, and tight weave. It makes a really nice addition to my living room.
I recently purchased 5 Bean's Wool Braid Rugs in various sizes after having my hardwood floors redone at my home. Great colors to choose from and outstanding quality. For all my Wool Braid Rugs, I chose the "Chestnut". The color was mostly brown, but it also included other colors like blue, dark red, etc. mingled with the brown--All the rugs look amazing on the hardwood floors. (I also ordered the Non Slip Rug Pads to put underneath to keep the Wool Braid Rugs place so they wouldn't slip--I just cut them to fit the appropriate sizes. They are great too.) Best part of all--when delivered, I saw that the Bean's Wool Braid Rugs are made in the USA.
What convinced me to buy the Wool Braid Rugs is my 91 year old aunt in North Carolina bought her Wool Rugs about 40 years ago, and they are still beautiful, so I decided if they hold up and look that good after 40 years, then I want the same good quality. Not sure where she bought hers, but I love the LL Bean Quality and they seem to carry the Best.
