These rugs are not made for people with cats who like to sharpen their claws! My rug was in strips pretty quickly; once the stitching is severed it comes out with ease. Just spent a few hours sewing it back together by hand because otherwise it's very durable and attractive. I would never order another braided rug from LL Bean, however.
Love the rug! The size and colors are true to catalog. It is well made and is used in a high traffic area of home (kitchen). A new favorite. I look forward to choosing this rug again ... Spring colors! Thinking perhaps a sage green or soft clay and creme?
After having the rug about 1 month I noticed some fading and some of the braid was wearing and pulling up. I notified customer service and a replacement was sent in good time. I was dissapointed in the quality but as always LL Bean acted quickley to replace. This is the reason I have been a customer of yours for over60 years.
