I purchased these rugs for every room in my new house to cover wooden floors. They are wonderful, wear well, are greatly admired by everyone who comes inside and easy to clean. I am so very pleased with these and am sure I will enjoy them for years to come.
I received the rug & couldn't be more pleased. The colors are rich & the rug appears to be very durable. I have other braided rugs from LL Bean & they hold up great. I've had the one in my bedroom for 10 years, through 6 cats, and it still looks great.
The colors are beautiful in this vintage red rug. That said, since ordering a runner and three smaller braided rugs in April 2010, the hardwood floors in my home have been inundated with small vintage red fuzzy wool "balls" (similar to dust balls) and they never cease appearing. Some years ago I ordered a large multi colored wool braided rug and did not have the problem of "fuzzy wool balls". My guess is that LLBean might have changed braided wool rug suppliers. I will not order braided wool rugs from LLBean in the future.
