8 x 11 Bright Multi rug is beautiful. All the primary colors are very good, very clear, and the red is especially pretty, a nice mellow scarlet. It has a wonderful sunshine yellow, light purple, orange, and a true green, but the overall effect is just warm, not garish. Not the rug for a room with a lot of patterned upholstery or modern furniture, but for our old wooden stuff, perfect. Very well made, excellent value, definitely needed the rug pad on the hardwood floor. Best of all, it sheds dog hair just fine.
I bought three of the small size for my recently remodeled bedroom, one for the foot of bed, and one for each side of bed. I bought the denim blue, and the color is perfect, looks great with my Blue LL Bean Sugar Cube Chenille Bedspread. Definitely need a no slip rug pad underneath if you have them on hardwood. Have not vacuumed or cleaned yet, am a little concerned that my vacuum may pull the threads. We'll see. Also, each one is different and completely unique in color, due to the nature of braided rugs, but they are close enough to each other to match. Overall all, great quality, rich color, love them. My husband and I fell in love with the Multi-Bright Braided Wool Rug as it was represented in the online photo. We were disappointed to find that this well-made and obviously high quality product looked so different once in hand. The colors were quite bright - more bright orange and primary yellow coupled with primary shades of blue and green - that would overwhelm the rich earth tones of our furniture and decor otherwise. Would LL Bean consider manufacturing a rug per the colors as represented online? We will return the rug we received, and would like the opportunity to purchase a rug per the image - and colors - as represented in the current photo.
