I purchased 5 of these rugs about 3 years ago. Currently, they are stacked under beds because they are constantly pilling, shedding wool all over my hardwood floors. They might be ok in a guest room, under a coffee table or other low traffic area, but unless you want to spend your days cleaning wool partices witha vacuum cleaner, don't place these things where people walk. Our home environment is two adults, no kids, and no pets. House is only occupied 8 months out of the year.
I had very high expectations on this rug but I should have paid attention to the previous review. Since it is a big item, I didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning.
