We ordered 3 of these rugs 2-3 x 5 and one of the small ones. All of them came packaged very well and the colors were true to the web site. They appear to be well made and I believe we will be very happy with our choice.
They are slippery on hard wood floors and they do require an anti slip pad underneath.
My only complaint would be the way the labels are stitched into the rugs makes them hard to remove and you have to be careful not to cut the stitching. Other than that they are excellent rugs and we are very happy with them.
Even tho my favorite color is red, it was with some hesitation that I ordered the Vintage Red wool braided rug because the web/catalog views seemed quite different and I wasn't really sure about the color from either picture. And because I was concerned that the Vintage Red might be overpowering, (just in case) I ordered a Chenille Vintage Multi, for a more muted effect. I figured I could compare them side by side and return the one I didn't like. Long story short....I love them both AND I just ordered those same two rugs again! The wool rugs are for inside my back door in the family room and in front of the sink in my kitchen (Vintage Red looks fabulous on the hardwood plank flooring) and the Chenille Vintage Multi rugs are for a bedroom and bathroom. My bed ensemble is the complete "Vintage Floral" look (I love the quilt, the skirt, the sheets, the shams...) and the Vintage Multi Chenille rug looks GREAT next to the bed! It's soft underfoot both in the bedroom and the adjoining bathroom! I think you will love these rugs!! I've only had them a week, so I can't comment on their wear, but they look and feel GREAT! I am so glad I ordered one...two...three...four!
THIS CAPEL MADE WOOL RUG IS QUALITY TO THE MAX! UPON ARRIVAL, IT WAS TOO SMALL. PURCHASED THE CHENILLE CAPEL, BUT IT WAS NOT GOOD FOR OUR FINISHED BASEMENT, SO ORDERED THE WOOL RUG IN A LARGER SIZE AND AWAITING ITS ARRIVAL. THIS STORY SOUNDS LIKE THE THREE LITTLE BEARS STORY, WITH THE FINAL RUG BEING JUST RIGHT! ALSO, CAPEL SELLS THESE RUGS AT THE SAME PRICE AS LLB WHICH MEANS LLBEAN IS THE RELIABLE COMPANY THAT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND, LIKE THE RUGS, HAS QUALITY.
I had my eye on the bright-multi rug for a long time. When it arrived, I was pretty surprised at how bright it really was. Chalk it up to the differences in computers, I guess. The colors are very primary, compared to what I was expecting. BUT! my husband loved it and I've grown to love it, too. It's really added some zip to our dining area. There is one yarn pull that I've worked with and the end is a little more obvious than I'd like, but what the heck.
