I am so happy I ordered this braided rug. It adds a nice cozy touch to our loft area. At first I was disappointed with the color because it is darker and brighter than shown. Forest green is the predominant overtone instead of the muted greens shown in the catalog and Online, but it works. It is a quality rug made in the USA. Thanks!
I purchased this rug almost 4 years ago. It was more expensive than others we bought at the same time (these were cotton), and I now know that it was worth the cost and much more. In fact, you can't get a better--or equal--braided wool rug for less. While every other rug in the house, new 4 years ago, has suffered stains and wear under the influence of spilled drinks, dirty boots, and our two active dogs (who have had "accidents" on every rug by now), this rug has weathered it all. It looks about as good as it did when it arrived in the mail; spills, dog unmentionables, and so on clean up beautifully with water and a vacuum, and it doesn't have a single stain. I have no drawbacks to list here. I'm writing this review because after four years I'm about to purchase a second one of this type for a different room. I wish I'd purchased this type of rug for every room in the house from the beginning, rather than looking for less expensive options. I'd have saved in the long run.
This rug is not only attractive, it is extremely well made. For better or worse, my dog uses it as a landing pad when jumping from the bed, and after many months of use, it doesn't have a single pull. It still looks brand new, and I sweep it daily.
I bought two, in seedling color, and love them both....on for the dining room and another for the front entry. Only a few weeks now, but they are soft and durable at the same time. Color seems very true to picture, perhaps a bit more yellow than I thought, but still very attractive. Love it!
