Wow. This is a beautiful rug. I bought the 9 x 12 to cozy up and define my living room seating area. It was hard to find a wool braided rug, made in America. I did a lot of research and other sites charge way too much for shipping, duties etc. Some estimate costs so who knows how much it would be in the end. Not LLBean - less than $100 total for both shipping & duties taxes, etc. and I was charged exactly as quoted in check out. Denim blue rug has a lot of green in it, but colors are well blended to flow into each other making this a beautiful soft rug. On my computer it looked blue and yellow, but actually it is mostly blue and green with soft grey. i wish I could have ordered a color sample, but trusted LLBean to have selected a good color combination. It is and will give me great flexibility in color choices for upholstery and accents. It already makes my mess of hunter green and tan old cottage furniture look better. I know LLBean will be there for me if there are any problems. It is well constucted so I do not anticipate any problems. Customer service answered all my questions and it arrived quickly even though I ordered just before Christmas - had it before New Years day. I will get a rug pad for it, even though it lies down nicely without one. It is very soft on bare feet. I would order this again and do not hesitate to recommend it to you.
Bought 2 of the small chestnut rugs for my spare bedroom that has wood laminate floors - they look awesome! As recommended by llbean, you do need non-slip pad - just make sure the pad won't discolor your floor - follow floor manufacturer recommendations for the right material.
We've had a number of these rugs through the years. They've held up great what with the pets, kids, snowy boots, snacks, etc that they've had to endure. They are very easy to clean. Wouldn't hesitate to get another one.
