If I could have designed this rug myself, I could never have done a better job at blending the colours that were mixed into my new brown braided rug. We are getting a fireplace installed next week, and the rug will add to the rustic touch of the Franklin Stove! And, as always, craftsmanship is stellar.
I've used my rug for going on seven years and feel compelled at last to sing its praises, briefly. The rug conveys an overall appearance of quality, not just when first unrolled, but after literally hundreds of people and dogs have walked or run on it. We chose the 9x7 and a smaller size in my study. They both are sewn fabulously, and the variety of colors available is seductive.
The 2 brown braided wool rugs we purchased for our finished wood kitchen floor are quite attractive and go well with our cherry kitchen cupboards. They give the room a new fresh look. I think they will be long lasting.
I have had two of these rugs in the smaller sizes for a couple of years. They are in very high traffic kitchen and pantry areas, and have held up beautifully. So when it came time to purchase a new rug for the dining room, I knew I wanted another braided rug. I ordered the vintage red, and it is just gorgeous - mostly shades of deep red with a little green, blue, black, yellow, and white My dining room doesn't get a lot of light, and the rich, warm colors in this rug totally change the atmosphere of the room. These rugs are made of wool and wear like iron. They are beautiful and very high quality -- definitely worth spending a little extra money for something you'll have for years. Made in the USA too! I couldn't be happier.
