I am very happy with the rug except for one end of it. It is not finished off very well and has like a lumpy line to it. I am thinking I may return it but I do not have the packaging any longer. Otherwise, the rug is great. I will contact you later about this.
I love this rug more every day!!! I bought 2 for my mudroom, both in the "Khaki" color scheme. The color mix is somewhat different between the 2. One has more blue, the other more yellow and brown, so they don't look like an identical match, but they coordinate nicely. Just as I had hoped, the khaki color is perfect for hiding both mud and light-colored pet hair (both are in abundance at my house).
I only wish there were more sizes to choose from, something in-between the 3x5 and 5x9. And perhaps circle or rectangle shapes. Still, I look forward to buying more when my budget permits.
Ordered my first Capel rug from Bean in 2002. I still have and use it. AND it looks great. I ordered my next one the following year 2003. My third again, in 2003. I have three total and am about to order my fourth. I have a 9 x 11, a 5 x 8, and a runner. Hardwood throughout. These rugs have held up the best. I, for cost reasons, ordered a cheaper braided rug for another room in the house. It does not feel as soft as the Capel's and the stitching is much looser as they used "fishing line" thread. Capel's rugs withstand A LOT (I have four young kids and two dogs, and did daycare for the first two years that the rugs were in my house). Mine need a few repairs, from furniture legs rubbing and pulling the seams apart. But they still look excellent, braids have not come apart, color has held well. Highly recommend them!
