Just put hardwood floors in a very busy family room that has three entrances. We also have two dogs. This rug (we bought it in large bright multi) looks beautiful and is so easy to keep clean. We bought Bean "waterhogs" for the entrances and they are the perfect fit for this room. We would have got rid of the "wall to wall" carpet and put in hardwood long ago if we knew that Bean had the answer to how to keep the floors "safe", and still look beautiful. Thanks to your customer service dept for helping me to make the right decisions.
i ordered 4 of the smallest wool braided rugs. the Blue Yellow, Denim Blue and 2 of the Honey Multi. they are beautiful. occasionally i see a loose braided piece but i just take my trusty crochet hook and pull it through to the other side and it's good to go. i had tried to find braided rugs to replace my old old ones but these gems are hard to find. i wasn't a customer of LLBean then but i sure am now and hope to be for many years to come. the colors of the rugs are terrific. they sure brighten up a room and make it feel so cozy and warm and inviting you to stay awhile with a cup of tea.
I bought the rug for a specific area of my home and measured according to the dimensions provided on the web site. I failed to adjust for the "ovalness" of the rug though and it seemed small for the area I'd imagined it to cover. Also, the colors shown on the website did not seem to be the colors of the rug. Again, not anyone's fault, but I could have sworn I saw a bit of pink in the on line colors of the green rug I purchased and it turned out to be tan.I found a different spot for the rug and it looks great at the kitchen sink area, though I am concerned about frequent soiling of the rug by the various activities which take place in this area. It IS lovely though and makes our home seem much more cozy. I feel happy when I walk into the kitchen and view it each morning! I plan to buy more colors and sizes for other areas of the home after I see how this one wears.
