I have had the multicolor runner in my home for 1 year and it still looks great. I have middle-aged cats with all their claws (that I clip) and was afraid they would make mincemeat of the rug, but although they like to lie on it they never have tried to sharpen their claws on it. I love how the bright colors in the rug make a very cheerful entry to my house, even on dark winter days. Very high marks for this rug!
I've just ordered my fourth rug in 4 years, I love them so much! They stand up to everything and are great for kids to play on. I've looked at other rugs but nothing suits my home like these--they warm up every room. So glad they're made in North America.
I bought the 5x8 rose/moss rug. As others have been saying, the internet just doesn't do the colours justice. This is my 2nd rug, my first is over 20 years old. It has faded slightly over the years, but has stood up very well. Initially, there was a mix up with my order, but when I phoned customer service the problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Everyone I spoke to or emailed was very friendly. There was never a doubt in my mind that things would be resolved, which they were.
I like to have rugs & mats in front of every door, outside and in. It helps to keep dirt from tracking in. I've bought all kinds of rugs from various stores. Usually I would keep them for a while and then they would start to unravel or come apart or just get horrible looking.
Since I found these wool rugs from LL Bean I have bought basically nothing else. People always comment on how nice they look. After we moved to the country my hubby brought a cat into the house. It took some training before it learned to not use the large round rug for a scratching pad. It is also sometimes a cat barf destination. I thought --- that's the end of that rug -- but it still holds together even though there are a few of tufts of wool sticking out, and it cleans up just fine. It shows no sign of the paper towels, baby wipes, Lysol wipes, vinegar solution, etc that have been used on it at various times. The small ones, you can wash in the machine in an emergency.
I just bought two more of these and will probably keep on replacing my existing rugs with them. That they are made in USA is an additional gift. Another plus is that they don't shed lint like some cheaper rugs do.
