I have this blanket on my bed at home. it is warm and cozy. I took it to the dry cleaners, where it shrank from a king size to a double size. Also, in just a few short years, it has started to unravel. It is way overpriced for the quality. This is a dissapointing Bean item.

The Hudson's Bay Blanket is superior in quality. You'll love it. Great weight, warmth, but not too bulky. Will last forever. The big disappointment for me was the color....and I hope others might read this and investigate the colors prior to buying. I ordered a red blanket with black stripe. It was a gift. Based on what I saw on the screen, it looked as if the blanket was a deep burgandy color with a deep grey/black stripe. That wasn't the case. The actual color is a flaming cherry red....marachino cherry color. The best way to describe it is "shocking". It was a huge let down. I bought this blanket as a gift, and when I received the package in the mail, I immediately wrapped it and presented the gift. (In other words, I didn't have time to check it out for myself). I was embarrassed by the color...it was not handsome. The person refused to return it for fear of hurting my feelings....but it was awful. I should have stayed with the traditional white with multi-stripes. I know these blankets are exceptional and in terms of quality, you will not be disappointed. Just take care with color selection....or check out your gift before you give it!!! :-)
