Costing well over $500, I expected this blanket to be soft and smooth to the touch. It was neither. I only had to open the package a little to feel the rough, harsh surface, and quickly decided I did not want it.
2nd blanket as a gift. Love these heavy wool blankets. They are toasty warm and allow your body to breath, Unlike the cheap man made materials we have gotten used to in the last 30 years. They are expensive, but will last forever with proper care. Buy one you will love it. LLBean was very prompt as always...I always expect great service from them.
Always wanted this blanket, finally ordered it and glad I did. The colors are bright. The feel and texture is prefect. Not at all scratchy. Although I just started using it, I think it will be well worth the investment.
