I bought two chairs around two yeas ago. I hardly used them, since I am away most of the time.In the beginning the chairs were fine. This summer and despite that I store the chairs away in winter months, they fell apart completely due to rot. I am very disappointed with this product. It is a real waste of money.
Our daughter bought us these chairs a year ago for mothers day and fathers day we have sat in them a hand ful of times! The peg on the side doesn't stay in! And today I sat in mine and the wood on the back cracked!!!!!! Really these are not cheap chairs! I can't imagine what shape they would be in if we used them more! This is the first time i sat in mine this year! And we bring them in for the winter! VERY disappointed!
We bought these chairs (4) over two years ago for the lake and they are very comfortable and have weathered well. Last week we had a bad storm which blew two of them off our dock. The chairs were recovered but the wooden pegs were lost. I called LL Bean and told them my story. Within a week we had two new pegs delivered to our front door at no cost. This is why we have used LL Bean for over 20 years and recommend them to all our friends. Thanks LL Bean, without these pegs, the chairs would have been useless. We love you guys - keep up the great customer service!
