I bought two of these chairs as a gift for my brother. I looked around at others locally that were cheaper, but I'm so glad I opted to order from LL Bean. It was definitely worth the money. The chairs are very comfortable and clearly made to last. I'm sure we'll be enjoying them for many years to come.
I purchased a pair of these chairs for Memorial Day weekend festivities. They look beautiful, are comfortable to sit in, and were very easy to assemble (I put them together solo and each chair took approximately twenty minutes). A socket wrench makes the job foolproof. I was even missing a single piece of hardware and LLBean set me a whole second bag of hardware express and free of charge. Definitely a purchase I love.
We bought 2 green ones. They were delivered fast and were easy to put together. We love the wood and authentic Adirondack design. Chairs are extremely comfortable.
I had two ancient Adirondack chairs (circa 1930), and finally, they needed replacement. The LLBean chairs were easy to order, came within four days of ordering and were easy to assemble.
My only suggestion is that the use of metal nails/bolts could be improved, as these will tend to rust with normal weather conditions.
