I was excited when the chair arrived; loved the color, could hardly wait to get it up. When I tried to put it together, I was disappointed to find the holes drilled into the back were much too small for the enclosed lug nuts, so I have called for a replacement back and am awaiting its delivery. Hopefully it will be soon. Then I hope I'll be able to change my one star rating to 5 stars. Meanwhile....
We bought 4 chairs a little over 8 years ago in green. We are about to take the 3rd one to the dump and we'll have one left which is starting to go. They have been great chairs for us! The paint has lasted but there have been a few problems with the screws and hole fillers coming out. I would not recommend the chairs that recline. Two of our chairs were recliners and they fell apart first. We have not been good about taking our chairs in during the winter or even covering them up. And we have moved houses once since we bought them. One of the chairs didn't last more than 2 years, but my nephew put 2 of them together and he didn't do it very well so that may have contributed. We are planning to buy more chairs this summer to replace our old ones.
So easy to put together, comfortable chair, especially with the cushion. The green has a little blue in it, not quite what I expected, but really looks great in the garden around the fire pit.
