A nice chair at a good price. The paint coat is a bit thin. Harware may eventually rust - although it is coated. The design has one problem: the back should be slightly curved to conform to your back, but it is completely straight (side to side), making the chair less comfortable than it could be. But, for the price, it is hard to complain. Assembly is straightforward. The pins that prevent the chair from folding have a tendency to fall out - diameter is just a bit too small (you can put in a screw)
Just received our two Adirondack Chairs. Perfect color, easy to assemble (second one easier then the first!) and very comfortable. We placed them on our back deck over looking our garden. The yellow color (sun) adds a terrific dimension to the color pallet. Paint looks well done and appears as it will last but time will tell. Overall we are very pleased with the promptness and apparent quality of the chair.
Recently purchased 2 classic ador. chrs., after much comparison shopping. In 1 chair, 2 of the screw holes were too large, thus not being able to tighten bolt. both chairs are not very stable, they are a little 'rickety', which was a great surprise coming from over 30 years as llbean shopper! they are already splintering, after only 2 weeks outside, another surprise. I didnt think I needed to 'poly' them. so, we keep, but do not buy more of them as planned. thank you, mrnoel
I love my chairs!! I bought two chairs in red and love the color. I agree with all the reviews that say that the chairs are well built and easy to put together! I built the chairs myself and it didn't take much time at all. I also like that the arms are wide enough to place a glass or a plate. I look forward to many days sitting and enjoying the moment with friends and family!!
