The quality and color of the chairs was perfect. However, the paint does not hold up to bird droppings so we now have stains all over the beautiful yellow chairs. There should be a warning as to not place under treed areas. But we still love the chairs!
I love my chairs. I have four red ones, the round table and the square table. They sit on my deck and are perfect for my needs. We have 3 outdoor cats who like to sit on furniture so their hair easily blows off the bright red wood. The wide flat arms are perfect for holding a plate of food or glass of wine. They sit in the hot mid-west sun in the afternoon and have not faded one bit.They were time consuming to assemble, but not impossible.
We've had two of the green Adirondack chairs outside for much of the last year and they look good as new. But this summer we added two more in the natural finish, and in just two weeks they started turning black around all the screws and on many other surfaces. We exchanged them for two more green ones. The finish on the natural chairs is different and requires regular cleaning and resealing. GET THE COLORED ONES! They have a nice hard-shell finish that stands up well.
My husband and I researched the adirondack chairs because we wanted a couple for our Lake house. After reading the reviews on LLBean we decided a good product for the money. They have been a great product for the money. My husband who is not so good at putting things together- put the two chairs together on his own! They are good solid construction, a quality paint/finish and we have not been disappointed. Thank you LL Bean!
