great light weight blazer/jacket. sleeves were an inch too long according to size chart(measured against same blazer bought last year-same size, different color).can role up sleeves, too expensive to alter!
I honestly like this jacket a lot. Perfect material, it's light and nice for warm weather and a perfect combination of casual and dress.
However, as stated previously the sizing is not even close to normal. I am 200lbs, 6'1 with a 32 inch waist. I normally wear a 44 long.
Noting what people said, I first purchased a smaller than normal 42 tall figuring I could easily have my tailor shorten it if needed. The shoulders and chest were fine, but not only was it extremely long, but it was way too big around the middle too as if tailored for a person with a very large belly and bottom. So, I went ahead an exchanged it for a 42 regular. Astonishingly, this jacket was also too long and wide in the middle compared to my tailored suits and blazers. Now I am ordering a 42 short since it is 1" shorter than the regular and after comparing one of my 44 tall tailored jackets on top of the regular, it seems like the short should do it. If it works (and I am assuming it will), I will now have my tailor tuck it in a bit at the rear seam to take the belly out.
I would think LL Bean would change their sizing designations to better represent the norm, so people do not have to return nor exchange until they find the right fit.
A person who normally wears a 44 tall should not have to find out the hard way that this jacket must be ordered as a 42 short.
An ok spring/summerish jacket, not exactly tropic.

1) I wouldn't call this "tropic weight." It's moderately substantial cotton, and it's not paper thin. It's more of "mid-70s, 80s if you're in the shade and there's a breeze" weight. 2) No lining, so you don't feel like most of your torso is in a heat wrap. 3) You will sweat in this; because there's no lining, sweat from the underarms is going to show, although not sure if anyone looking at you would notice. 4) Being no lining, you can't slide in and out of it as you would a blazer or jacket with a non-grippy, slippery lining. 5) I haven't found much of a size issue. It's not trim-fitted, but it's not like wearing a sheet either. The buttons are a little lower than I'm used to, but the jacket begins to close up above the top button. The sleeves are perhaps a 1/4-1/8th inch or so too long. It's hard to tell, because the shirt sleeves are likely being pulled upwards by the non-sleek cotton of the blazer.
Nice summer knock around jacket, but the size is way larger than usual. My regular jackets sleeves came down to my finger tips and the belly was made as big as my chest. Rating would be higher if I didn't have to exchange the coat.
