The weight was fine but the cut was more for portly than athletic. The first button was by my belt buckle. I was looking for a casual jacket similar to the cut of Don Johnson's jacket on Miami Vice. The shoulders fit fine but the torso looked two in.too big.
I purchased this for my husband in a 42R, he is normally a 44R but based on previous reviews I sized down. The fit is perfect and the arm length is just right. Any shorter would have been too short. He and I are very happy, it looks smart and casual and the fit is good!
After reading several reviews I ordered the Tropic-Weight Blazer in a smaller size than my usual, but found the fit confining in the shoulders. Exchanged for my regular jacket size and all was in the shoulders. The sleeve & jacket length were identical in both sizes. Overall, the Blazer's quality is excellent but the styling somewhat bland, e.g., the lapels are a bit too wide. And a nylon liner would help with getting the jacket on & off. Other than that, the Tropic-Weight Blazer looks great with cords or chinos, and works well in a casual office or art gallery opening.
