I got one of these in navy blue for my son and it has gone on a couple of cruises for the dressy dinner nights, as well as occasional events at home. It packs well and even after several washings it still looks new. I called and got help with choosing the size, and it fit him perfectly out of the bag.
I got the two blazer jackets for my friend and mailed to Beijing, I ordered exactly the size my friend use to have couple of L.L.Bean blazer jackets, but it come out the size is awful big, like two size bigger, He took to the tailor it come out not good, it just too big, So it hang on the closet as a souvenir, never been worn, i really like the brand and quality but not so sure about the sizing though.
It is exactly as described. The jacket can be thrown in the back seat of your car and put on after catching a matinee theatre at "The Shaw Festival" so you are presentable in a restaurant. It can fit over Seer Sucker shirts that LL Bean sells. I liked them so much that I about all four colours. I made a slight mistake in the sizing and should have gone one size up but I have put on weight and will lose it by the summer so the jacket will fit.
I recently ordered this blazer for my husband. He normally wears a 40 long. I ordered the 40 tall. Perfect fit. I do not know what the other reviewers are confused about on the sizing, but if you have any doubt about the size, I suggest you speak to a product specialist. They have been a great deal of help to me.
