As pointed out in the previous reviews this jacket runs large. I wear a 42R, but ordered a 40R and it fits fine. It has a nice hand (feel) and like most LL Bean products it is well-made. If you can find the right size you will like this jacket.
Great jacket for dressing up a pair of jeans and polo or button-up shirt. If you need a blazer for a business casual event in the summer months, this is the one for you. Be careful about the length. I am 5'11, 170 lbs. The regular length was far too long on me, but the short-length version is perfect. (Oddly, my LLBean shirt size is normally Medium Long.) Great quality and a great deal.
Normally I order XXL shirts, and they fit just right. I carefully checked the size chart, but its like wearing a tent, and I cant send it back due to being in Afghanistan so I am stuck with a $90 tent that even after tailoring will be ridiculous. Its thick, so I wouldn't call it a summer jacket, more Autumn and Spring. Definitely or a size smaller without hesitations.
