I am a perfect 42 short. This size in this blazer has sleeves that are an inch longer than any of my other 42 short blazers. This blazer appears to have sleeves for a regular or long jacket; the sleeves are certainly not proportional to the rest of the blazer.
Great blazer if you are trying to shave off a few ounces of what goes into your luggage. It may not get you into the fanciest clubs (golf or otherwise) but in my experience any restaurant in Europe will be happy to accept your business in this attire.
While you would expect a slight variation in fit based on the styling of a jacket, the sizing on this one is way off. I normally wear a 40 short. This jacket in a 40 short was so large on me that it couldn't be tailored to fit. It felt more like a 44. Normally I find LL Bean's sizing to be accurate, so this was a rare but unpleasant surprise.
