"I know that sounds odd as a title but I bought the Trail Model Rain Jacket for my brother who suffers from MS and has trouble with zippers, especially double zippers. He handles the Rain Jacket's double zipper easily. It also fits him well and looks sharp."

"Bought similar rain jacket in Boston in mid 1980s. It was OK, but tended to be clammy in very wet weather. This new 2009 jacket is a quantum improvement. Wicks better. Color is a true Navy blue ... not the paler blue of the 1980s. Price is a bargain. Great fasteners, pockets and hood. Highly recommend it."

"This perfect spring/summer/fall foul weather coat holds up in the field or on open water. Velco extra seals plus zipper help warmth, dryness and on and off ease. Zipper pockets also an excellent feature. Best wet weather buy I could find!"

"This jacket provides adequate protection from rain, but the hood constantly drops down below my eyes and the zipper is almost impossible to clasp and close. This is the second really bad zipper I've had from LLB."

"Bought the short length for my husband and college-age son. Both are happy with them. Keeps them dry. It's not sweaty on warmish days, and it's warm on cold days as a wind breaker even when not raining. Wish it could be stored its pocket."

"Good for stated purpose, rain gear. visor on hood obscures vision if not wearing a hat; visor brim hat is a must.
Easy to roll up and carry with you. Would be helpful if a pouch were included.
Great for athletic events. Good to sit on (if in pouch) if cold and blustery."

"This is a really good rain jacket for general hiking & backpacking. I did not expect it to be as good as it was for the price but I rate it up there with my Patagonia light rain coat (with the only exception is that it has no pit zips... But for the price you can't go wrong)

"I purchased this jacket for my husband. He found the jacket to be very comfortable. It is light weight and has plenty of room for moving about, is breathable which did not allow him to get hot. "I am very happy with this jacket. I bought it to layer over and it slips over nicely, not at all bulky. Luckily I haven't put it to the rain test yet, but I believe it will do very well compared to another, more expensive jacket I have. I needed a bright yellow/gold for school colors, it is true to picture. Only negative- I wish it had inside pockets and I wish they had pants too."
