My mother gave this bed to me for my birthday. I have loved this beautiful bed frame for the longest time and have always admired it whenever I was in LLBean's in Freeport. Now my husband and I will be purchasing a King size bed and we will be upgrading to a King size cottage iron bed...Can't wait. Thanks LLBean for a timeless treasure.
I purchased this bed in black 8+ years ago. I love it because it has a classic, timeless look to it, and it fits in well with many different design/color schemes. I also love it because as a stomach sleeper, I can rest my feet off the bottom of the mattress and not hit the footrails. The bed is exceptionally well made - no sqeaks, nothing loose - and it looks every bit as good today as when it was new. That's in part thanks to LLBean's wonderful customer service. The finish once got damaged during a move to my current home, and LLBean sent me matching touch-up paint at no charge. Thanks, LLBean!
I ordered this bed for a bedroom with a beach theme. I was going to order the seashore bed but it was on backorder. I could not be more pleased. This bed is absolutely gorgeous. It is sturdy and can be assembled in under 2 hours. I highly recommend it!
