I've been wearing the Double L Classic Fit jeans for years, but am more and more unhappy with the tight waist. Why can't you add a couple of inches to the waist and make them truly comfortable?
The jeans are comfortable but much too long. A 28 inseam is not for petites. I had to have them shortened. I've wore your jeans for years. Your jeans in the past ran true to size and length with a 26-27 inch inseam. Bring back the 26 inch inseam for petites!
This is the 3rd pair I've ordered. In 2011 the fit was just right. At the end of 2011 I ordered another pair and they were tight. I returned them but decided to try ordering them again. The pair that arrived a few weeks ago was somewhat tight. I've lost weight so I don't think that's the problem because the 1st pair fits me the same as when I got them. L.L. Bean needs to check on the measurements.
I had ordered the Double L Straight Fit Jean in a 12 Regular -- they were too long and too baggy around the waist, seat and thigh. I thought it would be safe to order a size 10 Petite. I saw these in the store and bought them in a 10 Petite but the waist is way too tight. At the same time, I bought the Bayside Twill pants in a 10 Petite and they fit fine. Not sure why there is that much of a size difference between the various styles.
