I live in these jeans since I am retired. I usually order a size 4 petite and still have some that I can wear as they do stretch just a bit once you've get them on. I couldn't even zip up the size 4's I ordered this time, so I went up to a size 6 which seem to fit perfectly - can just 5 pounds of extra weight do that? Anyway, they are extremely comfortable and just the perfect lenth for my 5'2" size.
Pretty nice fit. Could be a bit higher in the rise and really fit at waistline. And could you also make them in 10-oz denim for summer wear in humid climes? Thanks!
Loved the quality of the workmanship and material on these jeans! Unfortunately, I'm very short, petite and straight build (4'11", 105 lbs, basically no waist line). Regular rise pants hit me at the rib cage so they are always too tight in the waist. And my straight build makes most jeans too big in the hips. I wanted REAL denim jeans so badly, I decided to give these a try. Sadly, they fit me like all other traditional rise jeans. They had to go back. I really liked the Kingfield Natural Jeans I ordered before these, too (great quality REAL denim!), but the smallest size was huge on me. I have loved the quality of every LL Bean product I have ordered. Just wish they carried smaller sizes for shrimps like me so I wouldn't have to shop in the "teeny-bopper" stores! For the average sized woman looking for real denim, I would recommend these in a heartbeat.
I've always loved these jeans in the past but this latest pair is made of lighter weight cotton which was a bit of a disappointment. Wish they came in a little longer length as well.
