I have bought bean jeans in the past and they feel great. However, I have always worn the same size and when I ordered the size I wear they seemed tight so I had to send them back and I ask for the next size. Beans return/exchange policy is easy and my replacement came quickly. I really like how they feel at the waist and length. Very comfortable.
Ahhh, I long for the wide leg, high waisted jeans from LLBean of about 5 or 6 years ago. Mine are just about to look really worn. I can no longer find any more like them. They are slimming because there is no "spare tire" or tummy roll when they are not such popular "low rise". I refuse to buy any such unflattering waist line slacks, jeans or skirts. These SAID they were at the waist, but were not in the front. They have been returned. I would love for LLB to revive the style that I am still wearing. They look great on.
I still love these after all these years. Fit great but I am tall and slightly built like a guy. I love their sturdiness but wish you would bring back the lightweight jeans. I wore my last pair out.

I purchased every color that is available in the Traditional fit Double L jeans and they all fit identical. I am 5'7" and the size 8 in Medium/Tall fits as if they were made just for me! After years of searching and wasting hundreds of dollars in the process trying to find jeans that fit, the search is over! The lycra/cotton jeans that claim to be the perfect fit can not compare to these 100% cotton jeans. Thanks LL Bean for a super product, you have me hooked for life!
