These fit me well and are comfortable. The only issue is the pockets are too shallow. Things fall out when I sit down. I've found this with other LLBean pants as well. Couldn't the pockets be made an inch or two deeper so they would be useful? I would certainly be willing to pay the few cents extra that would probably cost.
I should know better than to order pants from catalogues, even Bean. Regular are too baggy in the crotch, petite too short in the leg, and all are too baggy in the thighs and hips. These jeans are also of thinner fabric than I'd hoped; what I need are work jeans, not house or fashion jeans. Not rugged enough, not small enough. These jeans are not fashionable, but they're not good for winter work outdoors, either. Bean needs to add junior sizes--those fit me, usually, and stop catering exclusively to ladies who go for walks and like ruffles and polka dots in pastelle colors. I need work clothes for the barn and fields, and c an't find them anywhere in my size.

It was wonderful to be able to pull those jeans on and have them fit so perfectly. The material is tough, not worn out before you've ever had a chance to wear them.
