It was supposed to go to my waist, but it is still below my waist. It is very hard to find any jeans that go all the way up to my waist, and I am not tall. I am only 5'3".
These jeans were purchased for me as a gift by my husband. I have been looking for jeans with a higher rise and these seemed to be just what I was looking for. I really like the quality of the fabric and the construction. The rise is perfect. Unfortunately, the fit is snugger than I expected. Perhaps it is my age. In my 20's and 30's they would have fit perfectly, but my body composition has shifted in my 50's. Even though all my other pants are this size and fit well, these are too tight. I will keep them and attempt to lose a few of those holiday pounds, which should make a difference. I rate them four and a half stars because of the tight fit.
