I have tried this year unsuccessfully to find a real pair of jeans, not with spandex and thankfully LLBean has these. The Petite Size 4 was perfect in every way. I am 5 ft tall, weigh 102 lbs and have had great difficulty finding jeans to fit (don't want my pants below my navel) Most companies have a number of new fits but none of them actually fit. And what used to be a Size 4 has become a Size 0. So thank you LLBean for maintaining a product that is true to size!!
I ordered several pair for size. According to the size chart I should have been 2 sizes bigger than normal. Knowing better, I ordered my normal size and one bigger. My "normal" size in LL bean was way too big. I ordered straight cut styles as I have small legs and rear but big waist & stomache. The legs were HUGE and were not cut straight from the hip. Frustrating as I thought I hit gold. Straight cut, high waist and real 100% cotton jeans. Also note the sizes from style to style are totally inconsistant. Not a great on line product. Dont buy unless you can to the store for LL bean jeans.
