These jeans are REAL denim, not stretch. What a joy! The fit is very good, and the medium length is just right. That's a surprise, because I am only 5'3". I have pets and work with animals, and the denim protects my legs from over-zealous "greetings." So they are serviceable work jeans, but are cut nicely enough to wear with a turtleneck and blazer.
I have been buying and wearing the women's Double L jeans for a number of years, but I wore the Classic Fit rather than the Traditional Fit. However, this year the Classic Fit is no longer available so I had to choose something else. The Traditional Fit is the best alternative choice for me, but I had to go one size larger that the size I wore in the Classic Fit to best fit my waist. Although the Traditional Fit is a nice pair of jeans, I would much rather have the good old Classic Fit back.
I wear a size 10 and these were a little tight in the waist. At the same time I ordered the true fit jeans also in a size 10 and they were perfect! Not sure I would buy this style again?
I have been buying and wearing this particular style for years! They are very durable jeans and will last about 15-20 yrs. I am NOT kidding! Mostly, I have them for just hanging around the house or doing work outdoors in cooler weather. They are a traditional fit -- at the waist -- which I appreciate! They have a rugged feel at first but after repeated washings do soften up a bit but the durability goes on and on!
If you're looking for a pair of "real" jeans, you can't go wrong with these! :)
