These fit well from waist through thigh. Waist is just at navel. Comfortably loose, but not baggy, through hips and thighs. Most important, they're 100%, pretty durable denim instead of the "touch of stretch" that feels hot and slimy in summer.
Unfortunately, the tapered leg is a pain in the ankle. Can't pull up a pair of socks, scratch an itch or roll up cuffs to walk through waves or mud because the bottom of the jean is so tapered. (And it makes the rest of me look wider, too.)
I'm trying, in vain, to find this fit and fabric with boot-cut, or at least straight leg.
These Classic Fit jeans are great. The fit is perfect and the average length is just right for my 5'3" size. I am 50 yaers old and the low rise styles just do not work for me, but these are exactly what I like "classic fit jeans".
