I've found jeans that fit. I weigh less than 100 pounds, but I carry my weight in my waist and abdomen. Flat hips. When I find jeans that are comfortable in the waist and abdomen, they are sagging the the back. These fit! Please don't discontinue or change this classic style. They have nice deep pockets and good material. I always wash and dry jeans before hemming them because I expect them to shrink. I measured these before and after washing. The length didn't change.
unfortunately, the jeans did not fit and were clearly not true to size or length. It seems the suppliers are not accurately sizing the items sent over to this country. This was also true with twills ordered. All were returned. Strongly recommend Bean re-evaluate sizing when ordering more and customers need to be aware of the inaccuracies in sizes reported. Bean needs to find new suppliers.
I am short (4'10") and about 115 lbs. and the size 6 petite jeans fit perfectly without the need for hemming. In addition, they last for years and the price is better than I can find in a dept. store. I have never found jeans that fit better and will buy these LL Classic Fit as long as LL Bean carries them.
