I purchased these jeans based on the size I wear in Bayside Pants from LLBean which fit perfectly. They were too small. So now I'm paying $6.50 to return them. I would like to see consistency in sizing of pants, or if not consistent, a note that a product runs smaller (or exact measurements for waist and hips).
I bought these jeans in my usual size and it turns out that was about two sizes too large. Although I was thrilled at first, I knew I hadn't lost any appreciable weight and that the pants were just made too large. Additionally, the denim was very stiff and there was a lot of it. Too much. These jeans just don't seemed as if they would be very comfortable, even if the sizing was right. They do, however, seem like they would be very durable.
I ordered a size larger than the Bean jeans that I have been wearing, as I gained a bit of weight. However, I couldn't even button these and when I put them with my smaller size, they were 2" smaller at the waist and hips. I called customer service and complained!
Just what I was hoping for to take on a 3 week trip to England soon. Sometimes the leg length on LL Bean pants is too long for me. This pair is just right.
