I have been buying this particular style for years and I love it. I like the jeans starting at the waist so that they act like a tummy support! I like the straight or in some years, tapered leg that a person at my age (56) needs. No wide legs for me! I also have long legs and the medium tall fits me perfectly.
These may be the jeans I've been looking for, for years. In my years' long search, nothing seemed to work: petites have been too short, misses too long; the material's not remotely denim-like; the waist is either too low or too high. These feel like real jeans, and like real jeans, they don't stretch out after 5 minutes.
Time will tell if these shrink up too much, but until then, I'm tossing all the jeans I've been shoving to the back of my closet.
I discovered Bean jeans about 10 years ago and have never had to search for proper-fitting jeans since. I buy both the traditional and relaxed fit and they are both great, though I do like the traditional fit a bit better. I still have many of the pairs that I ordered 10 years ago and they have held up very well. The only reason that I buy new ones is so that I can wear them to work. The old ones are too faded for work, but I wear them on weekends and when I am out and about. I love, love, love the Double L jeans!!
