Nothing feels like 100% cotton jeans that conform to your body after a few wearings/washings. Snug but not too tight. And, unlike the ones with "stretch," they keep their shape.
I've had these Double L jeans in the past in a size 12, but have lost weight over that last year and had to give those up. I've bought other brands, in varying sizes...welcome to the "wild and whacky world" of women's pant sizing! Since the ones I've been wearing are a size 6, I thought that a size 8 in these jeans would do, but, after reading all the reviews, I decided on a 10 and, boy, am I glad! They fit me just fine, and this is the ONLY place I can get just a good pair of 100% cotton # NO stretch!# jeans in the rise I like. At 5'6", the length, waist and rise are all fine for me, and I do not have a stick figure either. If LL Bean ever discontinues these, I don't know what I'd do! I always read the reviews here before I purchase, so a big Thank You! to all you ladies who gave your honest opinion.
I have been purchasing the Natural Fit Double L Jeans in the past for many, many years. However, since they have been discontinued, an LLBean rep suggested I try the Traditional Fit Double L Jeans as a replacement. These jeans did not in any way fit the same as the Natural Fit Jeans. They were extremely uncomfortable and I am very disappointed because the Natural Fit was perfect for me. I will be returning the Traditional Fit Jeans. I hope I will be able to find jeans that fit me from another retailer.
