I have never ordered any clothing on line or over the phone for fear of it not fitting. I took a chance with a little help from an LL Bean assistant and followed her advice. When the pants arrived and I tried them on I was thrilled. They were a PERFECT fit. I've never even had that at any large chain stores where I've tried them on. I am ready to order a second pair.
LL Bean Double L Jeans are the best jeans I have owned. I love the high waist and the durability. My only wish is that they would bring back the natural fit.
I purchased my second pair of these jeans this winter. I like them a lot for winter, as they are heavier than most jeans. They fit well and launder very well. If you combine them with the silk pointelle long underwear from LLBean, your legs will be very comfortable on some of these very cold days we are having. I find them too warm for spring and summer.
I thought I was getting my traditional jeans in a size 8. I usually take a size 6 but have gained some weight and wanted them roomy. They were so tight I returned them. The size 8 was tighter than my current size 6. These jeans do not stretch.
I liked the slightly stretchy kind I have purchased from LLB in the past but couldn't find them online.
I know it's hard to fit people with jeans. It's a shame when the ones you liked have been discontinued.
