These jeans fit exactly as I hoped they would - not too tight, not too loose, soft, comfortable. Perfect for work and "play". Will probably order another pair.
What a pleasure to be able to wear a clothing item (jeans) which fit exactly! My "tallness" is in my torso, with the ideal leg-length of 31 1/2" ( which LL Bean termed as med. tall). I have not laundered them as yet, but do not expect a problem in that department.. I will be looking for other items for my size. Do you carry dressier pants/slacks? I'm desperate for that type.!!!!
I love these jeans, except that over time they shrink in length. Even with washing them cold, not putting them in the dryer, and with pulling the legs to stretch them out when I take them out of the washer, and then waiting forever for them to line dry, they still shrank 1" in length - all three pair that I have.
Next time I'll buy the long ones, and I am only 5' 2".
I still prefer my jeans without stretch and would like to have another pair of these which are just right in many ways. After wearing the relaxed fit for years, I switched to this traditional fit recently and like it better. But, unlike the relaxed fit, they don't come in tall. It doesn't seem like this should be impossible....I might be willing to buy them unhemmed if they were long enough so that I could make them longer myself, but I am reluctant to buy them in the medium tall again, knowing that they won't be quite what I want in that one aspect. So as the title says, I sure wish they came in tall.
