I have a closet full of LL Bean clothing but I especially love the jeans. The traditional fit is perfect for my long waist. There isn't any bagging in the butt or thighs. They sit at my proper waist and allow me to wear blouses tucked in which I prefer to do at my age (70). I'm so happy to be able to wear jeans again after many years of searching for some that were made for mature women instead of pencil thin teenagers.
I have so much difficulty finding pants that fit,and these jeans always fit perfect! I keep trying other brands, and always end up back at LLBean. They are true to size, fit and wear so well. I have an old pair that are so worn and faded, shredding at the bottoms, but they still look great! Ilove them. My only issue is that I cannot tell from the catalog if the jeans are the same ones that I previously purchased because there isn't an indication on the inside tag of the jeans.
These are great jeans for daily work of any kind, but now LLBean is offering more "stretch" denims and only two colors in Traditional Jeans. I have an old pair of black and of tan, and came back for more and all that is offered is faded and unfaded!! We need BLACK, TAN, and even an OLIVE would be nice. LLBean, Please give us more colors and we will buy more!! Please join me, Ladies, to request more colors!!
