I have an old pair of L.L.Bean jeans I got at a thrift shop, and they fit just right. I even measured the inseam length of a couple pair of pants before ordering these. However, they turned out to be too long and too tight. It's the first time I've ordered clothing from Bean.
I took all my measurements and selected based on them but I thought the waist was too big. It was enormous. I will never buy jeans on line again from any company. I DO LOVE LLBEAN and appreciate the return policy.
I think I made the wrong choice. These were too narrow for me around the hips, even in a size 4. They are more like boy jeans. I returned them to exchange for a slightly different fit which I hope will work. I do like that these have no stretch and are just cotton denim.
I wanted to another pair of classic jeans, but none were named as such, so I used the chat feature to find out if they were available under another name. Numbers matched for the double L traditional jeans, so that is what I purchased, and they seem the same as the older classic jeans I have.
