I am deeply saddened that you have decided to discontinue this product. It has been a perfect jean for years, especially for those of us 60+ years old. Please reconsider this decision and bring them back.
I've been wearing Double L jeans for almost 15 years now and love them because they are high-waisted, great quality and ideal for tall people. Now, for some misguided reason, LL Bean has stopped doing the tall size in all but the relaxed fit, and they've even run out of those. Please, please, reinstate your tall fit jeans - it's what, for some of us, makes your jeans so special.
These are my favorite jeans. After months of not being able to buy my size because they are out of stock, I chatted with the LL Bean staff. They confirmed that:

Discontinued in all sizes. I wanted to let others know, so that you can stock up before they are all gone.
I have been a faithful customer, since once I find jeans that fit well I stick with them. (I think I have ordered around 10 pairs of these jeans over the past few years.)
If you like the Traditional Double L jeans, now would be a good time to call/write and voice that you would like them to be brought back for fall.
Women's Double L Jeans, Traditional fit are the best fitting jeans for me! The quality of the material in these jeans is superb and holds up well..They are made of a sturdy denim, not the flimsy, thin as paper ones I find in other stores. Additionally, I cannot wear the low-slung hip hugger type of jean. I am 5"4" and 125 lbs. and the size 6 in regular length is just right. I will order some more when my size is back in stock.
