For several years now I have been purchasing LL Bean Traditional Fit Jeans ~ only jeans that actually fit my shape. Too bad LL Bean discontinued the stretch jean fabric - that was even better.
These jeans fit perfectly, they come in great colors, good deep flat pockets and are a really nice quality heavy denim material.. Once these soften up a little, I wont miss my old worn out jeans anymore
I've worn these jeans for yrs. now & they truly are STRAIGHT legs. Other's will claim to be straight legs but, they're NOT, they're boot cut w/o the flair. The only WEIRD thing about these jeans is that the waist is UP in your RIBS!! U HAVE TO train that waistband DOWN to your NATURAL waist! WHAT IS UP W/ THAT, LL BEAN?! I've been to Maine, many X's, I've been to your Original store many X's, I know WOMEN who live in Maine--they DO NOT have WEIRD HIGH WAISTLINE'S so, WHAT IS IT w/ U & these jeans?! FIX THE WAISTLINE, like 99.9% of the NORMAL population of women ALL over the planet! LOVE the fact that U will hem to inseam for nominal fee. GREAT SWEATER'S TOO! LOVE LL BEAN'S CLOTHES!!! LOVE THESE JEANS!! I mean, TRUE STRAIGHT LEG, fr. top to ankle!! I think it is FABULOUS that LL BEAN shows me PLACES NEAR ME to GET OUTDOORS!!! THAT IS TRULY AWESOME!!!
I have been the same size for 10 plus years. I always bought size six in LL Bean Kakies and jeans. My recent purchase of Kakies is snug so I went to an 8 in the jeans. They are less snug but still snug. I tried on other Bean jeans and Kakies from the past all are sixes and not snug. Somewhere along the way the sizing has changed. I love the material and style but not true Bean sizing.
