I ordered my usual 10 Medium Tall and knew immediately when I held them up that the waist was very small. Honestly, it looks like it was more a 6 or 8 than 10. I returned them for a different product from LL Bean. Hopefully this pair will be sized appropriately.
I am a straight size 12...I could not even begin to button these pants around me! They were not what I would call a nice looking pant at all...sent back!
The jeans are not the, "Classic", jeans that LL Bean used to sell. The fit is completely different. I returned them. Unfortunately they are the only women's jeans that LL Bean sell that are 100% cotton and are not, "relaxed fit". I would not recommend them to a friend.
I work in blue jeans. So few companies make clothes for women who actually WORK in them! I've often joked that companies should hire me for distressing their jeans and then they could sell them with a worn out look. I wish these were a heavier gauge of denim. They would last longer. I like to know that my waist is protected with a belt that fits. Although these may not be the most fashionable cut, they are clearly the cut for me. They aren't too baggy, and they have a nice taper down the leg. I am not restricted in these pants. I've shopped around. Other brands promoting work pants for women have styles that are too "industrial strength" for me. These are really for a woman's body, and I like that. Thanks, LL Bean!
